[영문] As Performance Indicator, the Daily Doses indicator has been developed and refined
over time. It reflects the number of days per year that an average animal has been
exposed to antibiotics. This has been split into DD for sows including piglets, and
for growing-finishing pigs. As an example: if the daily doses figure on a finishing
farm amounts to 3, this means that an average finishing pig on the farm has been
exposed to the antibiotics during 3 days per year. The graphs show the variation
among farms with sows (left) and growing-finishers (right graph), as well as the
Signal value (DD5) and Action value (DD10). Attention is needed on those farms
beyond the Action value.
