Advisory for export of mango to korea
Following guideline received from NPPO, South Korea has to be followed:
1. Indian plant quarantine inspector shall conduct supervision of VHT and export inspection in
accordance with the import requirements agreed by two countries.
2. Indian plant quarantine inspector shall additionally issue following documents for each
consignment with phytosanitary certificate.
- VHT report (please see attachment)
- Copies of VHT recording document (signed by NPPO of India inspector)
- State the issue number of VHT report in the treatment section of the phytosanitary certificate.
3. This interim measures will be applied for the end of May and APQA will accept the
phytosanitary certificates of India issed by 31st May, 2021.
APQA will review monthly (at the end of every month) to extend interim measures or resume
pre-clearance programme. The result of the review will be notified timely. For confirmation of VHT
result each phytosanitary certificate should accompany the VHT result report for import release.
The exporters are requested to adhere to the above requirements for export of mango to korea.
