The investigation highlights the dangers of introduction of virus on footwear and
importance of strict adherence to on farm bio-security measures.
Surveillance activities conducted since the last reported outbreak in March has
shown no evidence of HPAI infection in domestic poultry, which supports the view
that Republic of Korea is free from HPAI.
