andtheNetherlands.IntheMunchenBotanicalGardensinGermany,thespeciesisregardedasan
invasiveweed. InBelgium,C.linstowianawasrecordedinApril2019alongaformerrailwaytrack
inBruges(provinceofWestFlanders)approximately100mfromagardencentre.Thepopulation
hasbeenpresentinthisareaforatleastfiveyears. ItisnotclearhowC.linstowianaarrivedin
thisarea,thoughtheauthorssuggestitwasprobablyintroducedasacontaminantofotherpot
plants.Althoughthereisnoinformationavailableonitspotentialinvasiveness,thecongenerC.
incisahasshowninvasivebehaviourintheUSA,whereinjustafewyearssinceitsdetection,it
hasbecomeaproblematicspeciesthatcaninvadenaturereserves.
